3 Tips to Make Weight loss is certain

Weight Loss and Healthy Lifestyle Class

Sometimes even when you’re doing all the “right” things to lose weight (eating healthy, exercising, getting enough sleep, managing stress) the scale doesn’t budge. This can be frustrating and discouraging, and you may feel like giving up. But, before you throw in the towel, consider the following:
Is it time to visit your doctor?
Your doctor can assess whether hormones, your thyroid gland, or other factors are making it harder for you to lose weight. He or she might also recommend that you see a nutritionist or an exercise specialist to help you boost your metabolism by making small changes to some of the things you are already doing.

Are you trying to do it all?
Your everyday life is like a bucket. When there’s too much going on in your life, your bucket gets full and adding anything else —like more exercise— can make it overflow. If your bucket feels too full, you might try setting smaller goals for things like physical activity – so you can feel like you’re making progress without feeling overwhelmed. Or if life is feeling like too much, you might consider visiting a counselor or psychologist to help you find new ways to unload some of the things in your bucket so that there is more room (and energy) to work on lifestyle changes.

Do you feel good about feeling good?
Many women experience positive changes in how they feel, even when the pounds aren’t coming off. Remember to celebrate small victories along the way, including the success of feeling better. Even if your weight loss has slowed, pay attention to how you feel now that you have made improvements to your eating, physical activity, sleep quality, and stress levels while you work on finding ways to jumpstart your weight loss
